We used CharterHouse Surveyors - Jake - last October but due to one thing and another we missed posting a review regarding his services, and because it was the reviews which helped us make the decision to go with CharterHouse Surveyors we felt we had to leave one as it was the best decision we had made.  From the initial enquiry to the actual survey the communication from Jake was exceptional, nothing too much trouble, no question too silly, and we asked many - which Jake encouraged. His professional guidance was also truly welcomed.  At no point did we feel anything other than he was acting on our behalf and in our best interest AND he was pro active and genuinely pleasant to chat with. Our fears of have we got the right people to do this were instantly fully allayed. The report was brilliant uncovering things we would not have thought of.  It was so so detailed and thorough you really REALLY do get a report which for the layman and the professional  is not only helpful but is so informative and broken down into language we all can understand, we basically have an extensive document which we are now using to get the right tradespeople in as it’s almost itemised with pictures to support. Jake was always on hand to answer any queries we had on the report, answering quickly and clearly.  We would not hesitate to recommend Jake or the company, they are clearly customer focused with the highest level of professionalism and expertise.  We have also been in contact with him in the last few days, again, quick responses and nothing too much trouble.  The content and quality of Jakes report allowed us to make an informed decision on our purchase and supported us being able to negotiate the price as we could fully back up our concerns with the contents of the report.

Jake did an excellent job and gave great communication from start to finish. Jake spotted issues with the property that I had not spotted when viewing and was able to explain the impact that these issues could have in the future. The report was over 80 pages long with thorough detail and images to show the issues in detail. I was also able to have an aftercare conversation with Jake where he was able to provide further explanation of some of the issues. Great service and will use CharterHouse Surveyors again in the future.
